Bardolino DOC Tenuta Cariola

A wine full of character and liveliness, it is produced from grapes harvested on the morainic hills of the Veronese shore of Lake Garda in our vineyard that extends around the ancient Villa Cariola di Caprino Veronese. It has a brilliant ruby red colour, an intense, fruity bouquet and a savoury, dry and very harmonious taste.
Grape Variety
Corvina, Rondinella and recommended varieties to complement.
Vineyard (geographical location and characteristics)
The hilly area on the south-western shore of Lake Garda, where Villa Cariola lies, is one of the places where Bardolino expresses its best. The vineyards have an average age of 25 years; the soils are morainic and generally calcareous and alkaline.
Vinification
On arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. The must and marc thus obtained are fermented in special temperature-controlled tanks and a device for soft cap breaking, until complete extraction of aromas and colouring fraction without pressing.
Bardolino & Cuisine
Perfectly accompanies soups, boiled, white or stewed meat or any dish that is not too demanding.
